Items and Upgrade Components in World of Warcraft
Upgrades can increase the value of weapons and armor. However upgrading your magic and standard gear is rarely worth the cost as rare or unique equipment can quickly surpass it.
An item can be upgraded up to six times. Each upgrade will add points to the gauge for the item's level.
Glyphs
Glyphs are the upgrade materials that can be used to enhance the quality of an item's features. Glyphs can be used to upgrade weapons or armor. They can also be used to enhance the appearance of a ring, hat necklace or other accessory. Glyphs can be found in various levels and are sold by vendors in Deneb. They are usually very expensive but are a worthwhile investment as they can boost an item's stats.
A Glyph is an encoded character that symbolizes the shape of the letter, numeral or symbol. It has a specific appearance and is assigned an individual code that relates to it across different fonts. In addition to the regular letters, glyphs can include special characters like arrows and mathematical symbols. They may also represent icons or symbols that are used by a particular language. There are also ligatures, which join two letters and swashes - decorative symbols.
There are a variety of glyphs and a font could contain multiple variants of each. The glyphs that are default in Adobe Caslon(tm) Pro, for instance, contain all of the common characters, as well as ornaments, swashes, and ligatures. You can view these variations in the Glyphs Panel and insert them directly into your document.
Glyph metrics are the parameters that determine where a glyph is positioned when text layouts are created. They are determined by a combination of factors, including the advance width and side bearings. These measurements are essential to ensure that the glyphs fit correctly on the screen and be displayed correctly in text.

The Glyphs Panel is a powerful tool to create new document designs or to modify existing designs. It can display all the glyphs in a font, or it can be narrowed to a specific set of glyphs such as punctuation symbols or math symbols. The panel can be resized, and is accessible from the Windows menu bar. Glyphs must be used with care to avoid unexpected results.
The Glyphs panel can be confusing as it displays all possible glyphs in the font currently used and not only those that have been inserted recently. Click the cycle widget just to the left of "Glyphs" to take a closer look at the glyphs. You can then choose to view the panel in a collapsed or expanded, or to only show recently added glyphs.
Growthstones
Growthstones can be used to increase the effectiveness of an accessory, weapon, or armor. This is a lengthy process and there is a chance that the item won't be at its intended level. A typical headpiece, for instance, can be upgraded up to level six, but not nine. The maximum upgrade level of an item is determined by its quality. Rare and Epic items can be upgraded to levels nine, whereas Uncommon items can only reach the level of six.
Growthstones can be obtained from NPCs in major cities or from the auction house for players. You can also collect these as a reward during the Ancient Arena Season. These items can be used to improve passive skills, as well to increase the level of weapons and armor.
Once you have enough Growthstones You can then visit any Equipment Enchanting NPC to increase the upgrade level of your gear. Different weapons, armor, and accessories require different Growthstones. These NPCs also offer Active Skill Growth Books, Passive Skill Growth Books, and the Precious Skill Growth Book Omnipotence to improve your weapon.
You can upgrade your skills and equipment at these NPCs however, you'll have to spend a lot on the process. Each upgrade level costs certain amounts of crests or Valorstones. Weapons are usually the most expensive. You'll also have to complete certain quests to obtain the items. If you're looking to upgrade your armor, for instance, you'll need one of three Power Dices that are dropped by monsters above level 21 as well as certain quantities of Erons and Minerals.
Recycled items
Recycled products are created in part or completely from materials that would otherwise been discarded. These materials include paper, glass bottles, and plastics. Aluminum cans and electronic devices are also recyclable. In addition to conserving resources, recycling can reduce the need to harvest or extract new raw materials from the Earth. This can reduce pollution in the soil, water as well as the air and prevent environmental disturbances. It also reduces the necessity to cut down forests and divert rivers or harm wild animals to gather new materials.
A lot of the items we reuse can be used to make new ones. For instance, recycled glass bottles can be transformed into new jars, or pieces of fiber glass. A discarded aluminum can be turned into a thumbtack or a license plate. Even a piece of old newspapers can be recycled into an envelope or notepad. Asphalt, automobiles, steel and other items can also be recycled.
It is essential to understand what can and can't be recycled in order to maximize the recycling process. Paper that is in your recycling bin, for instance could cause damage to the equipment for sorting or cause issues with recycling facilities. Instead, item upgrading should utilize reusable grocery bags or cloth towels to decrease the number of plastics that are in the trash. Wire hangers may also cause fires in recycling bins, and can pose other dangers to facilities that handle recyclables.
It is best to only recycle items that are accepted by your local recycling program. Look online for acceptable items in your area. Paper bags tissues boxes, Tin cans are typically recyclable. Glass food and beverage containers are generally accepted as well, but you should make sure you rinse them prior to placing them in the recycling bin.
Batteries plastic grocery bags, batteries and wire hangers are just a few items that should not be recycled. These items can cause fires in recycling facilities and issues with tangling for recycling equipment and trucks. Instead, you should take these items to a drop-off point to recycle.
Suffix
Suffixes can serve as upgrade components to improve weapons and armor. They can be salvaged by getting rid of them from items or purchased at a merchant by using the Salvage Kit. Upgrades are color-coded to show the type of item they can be applied to. The merchant can sell identified upgrades in exchange for gold. Upgrades can be made with two prefixes, and one suffix. Upgrades are only available for items that have the rarity of blue or greater and include items found in the end chests in the Factions and Nightfall campaign. Items that have upgrade components cannot be used to make new items.
A suffix is a word or group of letters that gives meaning to a word that is larger, such as -tion in the verb create or -phoria in the noun feeling. Suffixes may also alter the speech part of a word, for example German's 'er' or English's. They can also alter the spelling of words, such as the adjective defenseless, which is now unprotected.
There are a variety of suffixes, ranging from nouns to verbs to adjectives and adverbs. Adding suffixes to words can alter their meaning or pronunciation, and some have special rules that apply. Suffixes are also used to modify grammatical rules, such as adding the suffix -ness a word to make it an adjective or -ic for a noun to make it possessive.
Suffixes are not only used to give a new meaning to words, but can be used to add names of people and places. A single man could have the surname "Paulauskaite" and a woman married would have "Paulauskiene".
The most common suffixes are those that signify status like -ion ism, -ist, and -es. They can also be used to define the traits of a person's personality like -iveness or -phoria.
Items with affixes are used to give armor and weapons additional parameters. They can be a combination between one or more prefixes or suffixes. For instance -Fiery boosts atk power by adding fire elemental damage. Item affixes can be applied to all items up to level 80 with the exception of crafted ascended armour and crafted trinkets.
